Welcome to your new favorite game - American Mahjong. Discover why this game is taking off like wildfire among all ages and walks of life. I'm thrilled to offer these lessons at Streetside Brewery in my neighborhood of Columbia Tusculum. In this series of two lessons you will learn the tiles, meet "the card" and play several rounds of American mahjong. I expect the winds will be in our favor and one lucky learner will experience the initial joy of declaring "mahj!". We'll start with my quick and simplified intro to American Mahjong - Matryoshka Mahj - any doll can play. Then in lesson two we'll move on to the full American Mahjong card published annually by the National Mah Jongg League.
